Gamal Moharam (Jimmy) , Founder & Chairman

Mr. Moharam is the Founder and Chairman of MGM Financial & Banking Consultants; an Egyptian joint stock company incepted in 1984. He is also the Chairman of ServFund, an MGM affiliate which is the largest fund Administration Company in Egypt; EGP60 billion Assets Under Administration (AUA). Mr. Moharram is one of the senior members of the national and multinational banking, finance, and business communities in Egypt. His professional and business career spans over 40 years in the USA and Egypt. Over that period, he forged strong corporate relationships and personal friendships with and between major multinational and national corporations and business leaders on both sides of the Atlantic. Mr. Moharam’s career started as a credit and marketing officer with Citi Bank in Cairo. This led him to joining the banking community in the USA, eventually becoming Chief Regional Representative of the Bank of New York in the Middle East. In 2002 he was recruited as CEO of the Egyptian Commercial Bank with a mandate to modernize and privatize the bank. The bank was successfully sold to Piraeus Bank in 2006. He was asked to stay on as CEO and Managing Director.

Mr. Moharam also holds several positions including chairman of Rawaj Consumer finance, non-executive vice chairman of Arabia Investment Holding, non-executive Chairman of AICT (Hutchison Port) Egypt, Chairman of the board of trustees of Child and society development institution, non-executive board member in Eastern Tobacco, and non-executive board member in Smart Village company. Mr. Moharam is also the senior advisor to the chairman office of Prometeia SPA , Head of advisory committee for Factoring & Leasing -FRA, and Head of committee of the Egyptian Factoring Federation. During the past 10 years he has also been a board member in Al Futtaim Group, SAIB Bank, Beltone Financial Holding, Exceed, and CI Capital.

Rafik Salib, Financial Advisor

Mr. Salib led financial advisory services for the past 10 years with particular focus on the small & medium-cap sector. He successfully completed multiple investment banking transactions, corporate restructuring, debt and equity finance with combined value exceeding EGP3 billion. Mr.Salib combines comprehensive operational and investment expertise with knowledge and skills acquired over 30 years of diverse global business exposure throughout Egypt, the GCC, Canada, East & North Africa - Expertise spans through corporate sales & marketing, direct private equity investment, turnaround management and regional business development in EverReady batteries, Alexandria Chocolate & Confectionery Company, and Philip Morris.

Yousra Gamea, Vice Principal

Ms. Gamea has been working in the investment banking and advisory business side for the past 10 years. She advices corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, and leverage buyouts. She also works on raising debt & equity for companies in different sectors. With an experience of 10 years, Mss. Gamea worked more than 105 transactions worth EGP 4 billion in different sectors such as steel, automotive, financial, food & beverage, healthcare, and construction sectors. Besides the above, Ms.Gamea acts as the commercial Manager to Prometeia SPA Italy and a consultant to Bain & co. in Egypt. She also worked in the Private Banking department in Emirates NBD where she handled onshore and offshore accounts with local and foreign clients investing in banking products, options, international bonds, stocks, and funds. Ms.Gamea is a risk committee member in Rawaj consumer finance, a board member in Servfund, and was a board member in Cairo Factors until January 2022.Yousra holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo with concentration in Finance and is a current candidate to CFA level 2.

Gamal Moharam

Sherif El Diwany

Mr. El Diwany is an Egyptian-Swiss executive and entrepreneur with 35 years of global experience in economic policy, public-private initiatives structuring, designing and implementing micro-economic policy reforms as well as green transformation of business. Mr.El Diwany offered business development & fund-raising services to several multinational clients with project ranging from USD 4 to 45 million. He founded his 1st business at the age of 29 and grew it to become 2nd largest management consultancy in Egypt for 17 years. In Geneva, Switzerland he led the repositioning and re-design of the value proposition and product offering in Customs Administration modernization for a multinational Swiss firm serving as member of its Corporate Leaders Committee and Senior Vice President for Business Development. He then served as Senior Director of the Middle East & North Africa division of the World Economic Forum in charge of shaping the Forum’s agenda, engaging leaders from government, business and other stakeholders across the region. Since his return to Egypt in 2014 El Diwany is engaged in private-public dialogue with Alexandria Business Association on business environment reform and green transformation of the private sector in Egypt. He is currently a member of the Board of MGM Financial and Banking Consultants.
In 2009, Mr. El Diwany was named by Arab Business Magazine as one of 50 most influential Arabs. He has published policy papers on the future of education in Arab world, future of labor markets in Egypt and evolution of Customs Administration in emerging markets.
Mr.El Diwany hold an M.A. in Development Planning, University of Houston, USA, 1981; a B.Sc. in Architecture, Cairo University, Egypt, 1978; a Business Strategy Diploma, INSEAD, France, 200; and a Leadership & Purpose Diploma, INSEAD, France, 2008.

Menatalla Sadek

Ms. Sadek’s career encompasses more than two decades of working in leading roles in Egypt and Europe. Her last role was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of H.A Utilities (HAU), as well as Managing Director (MD) of Lightsource BP JV co in Egypt. Ms Sadek led the establishment of HAU with the vision of setting up Egypt and the Region’s largest Utilities development, investment and financing vehicle for renewable energy, water desalination and treatment, transportation and warehousing, waste to energy and green investments. The largest investors in HAU include Hassan Allam Holding, Egypt’s oldest EPC contractor and one of the largest players in the market today, as well as foreign Infrastructure and enterprise funds. Ms Sadek led the efforts to establish very strong Joint ventures with the best in class global players in the various sectors that HAU was involved in. Selected partners include Lightsource BP, a 50% owned subsidiary of British Petroleum (BP) and Almar Water Solutions, a 100% owned subsidiary of Abdul Latif Jameel. Ms Sadek also concluded acquisitions that put HAU on the map in various sectors. Ms Sadek’s current independent Board and advisory roles includes Al Futtaim Group Supervisory Board, Lecico Group Board, and Blnk Finance in addition to acting as an independent Senior Advisor to African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a member of Old Mutual Alternative Investments (OMAI) with a current AUM of more than USD2.6 billion. Her board roles also included being one of the first female board members in The International Desalination Association (IDA) as well as her role as a board member in Lightsource BP-HAU, Taqa Solar, AA Water Developments, International Company for Water, Ridgewood group and Shabakat. Menatalla also acted as the Co-Chair of the Women in Business Committee (WIB) at the American Chamber of Commerce. Before her role as CEO of HAU, Ms Sadek was Chief Investment Officer of one of the Region’s largest Automotive and non-bank Financing Institutions, GB Auto. Menatalla led the investment, business development and strategy teams, directed the Investor Relations department of the publicly listed entity in Cairo and New York, managed the strategy of the group as well as the efforts to transform the group into the most profitable non-bank finance institution in Egypt in the fields of Leasing, consumer financing, micro-financing and fintech, to start with. Ms Sadek’s career also encompasses roles in Beltone Financial, Standard & Poor’s Rating in Stockholm, Sweden and Barclays Bank’s Corporate Team. Ms Sadek is a CFA Charterholder and was a founding member of the CFA Societies of Sweden and Egypt, where she was also a Board member.

Tarek M El Sharkawy

Mr. El Sharkawy joined the Bank of New York Mellon rep office since it launched in Cairo up until 2002. He has taken on a variety of roles until being responsible for the customer service and Operations Management department in the Middle East. Mr. Tarek also established an Egyptian Joint Stock Company in 2002 with CSC for the credit card services. For ten years, Mr. Tarek was entrusted with the responsibility of the presidency of the Board of Directors and the Managing Director of the company, where the company's primary purpose is to serve the Egyptian banks in dealing with Master Card and Visa International’s Company.

Karim Ragab

Mr. Ragab is currently Chief Executive Officer of the largest fund administration company in Egypt, with assets under administration around 80 billion Egyptian pounds since 2010. His professional and business career extends over 22 years of experience in banking and non-banking financial markets, where he was nominated to join the establishment committee of Sudanese Egyptian Bank and Shoura Bank Djbouti.Throughout his career, he built a strong corporate relationship as well as personal friendships beside vast experience in fund and banks establishment.
